Arizona SkinCare Institute (ASI) is a premier esthetician school in downtown Yuma, providing an immersive educational experience that prepares students for a thriving career in the beauty industry. Our esthetician program is designed to balance foundational theory with hands-on practice, equipping students with the technical skills and knowledge and required hours to sit for the Arizona State Board Esthetician Exam.

At ASI, students receive thorough training in essential esthetician practices, including skin anatomy, facial techniques, sanitation protocols, and client relations. In addition to classroom instruction, we emphasize real-world application by offering a full-service student spa. This unique aspect of our program allows students to gain supervised experience working with actual clients, reinforcing their skills and boosting their confidence in a professional setting.

With flexible options for full- and part-time enrollment, ASI supports a variety of schedules to accommodate students’ needs, allowing them to pursue their education without compromising other commitments. Graduates of ASI are well-prepared to obtain their state licenses and launch successful careers in the growing field of esthetics, with the confidence and expertise to make a lasting impact.

    Head Esthetician Program Instructor
    With 27 years in the beauty industry and 25 as a licensed instructor, she brings a wealth of expertise to her students and clients. Her certifications include lash extensions, chemical peels, permanent makeup, and PMA, along with credits in TV and special effects makeup. As a business owner, she values the limitless opportunities the beauty industry provides and is passionate about sharing her journey, empowering others to find their place in the field.

    Esthetician Program Instructor
    As a first-generation Latina, her journey began at 18 when she entered beauty school with a dream not only to excel but to become the teacher she always envisioned. With 13 years of experience in the beauty industry and as a licensed cosmetologist, she is dedicated to inspiring and empowering women to achieve self-sufficiency through beauty and esthetics, with a mission to pass on the skills and confidence they need to thrive independently. She combines her love for learning and teaching to make a lasting impact on her students and community.

    With over 30 years of experience in customer service and a proud heritage as a third-generation Yuman, she is deeply committed to her community and the success of its members. She volunteers with a local high school female sports team, finding joy in empowering young women to achieve their goals. Teaching esthetics has allowed her to turn a lifelong passion into a career that helps others thrive, and she feels privileged to inspire the next generation of professionals in her area.

    With nearly a year of experience as a licensed esthetician and over two and a half years working at ASI, Arianna brings a deep commitment and passion for guiding students as they pursue their careers in beauty. Her journey with ASI’s founder, Nohemi, began five years ago at Nohemi's Threading Studio, making her a key part of ASI’s community from the very beginning. Arianna is excited to welcome and empower each student, helping them discover and achieve their purpose in the beauty industry.

Our goal  is to instill  responsibility, pride, ambition and an exceptional work ethic to improve the quality of aesthetic services as a respected member of the beauty industry.
At Arizona SkinCare Institute, we chose the Milady curriculum for our esthetics program to provide students with a trusted, comprehensive foundation in skincare and esthetic practices. Recognized industry-wide for its rigorous and up-to-date content, the Milady curriculum ensures students receive in-depth knowledge on essential topics like skin sciences, sanitation, and advanced facial techniques. By following Milady’s structured approach, ASI equips future estheticians with both the techni cal skills and the client-centered approach needed to succeed and adapt in a dynamic beauty industry.
